It may surprise you to learn that celebrated fitness and fashion photographer Sean Kahlil danced professionally for nearly ten years, first at the Moulin Rouge in Paris and then in New York with the internationally renowned Alvin Ailey Dance Company. His success as a dancer is all the more surprising when you learn he spent the first part of his life suffering from polio, struggling with leg braces, years of painful physical therapy and partial paralysis until he was twelve.

And maybe it is this knowledge of personal transformation that defines this photographer. He knows what it is to realize unfulfilled potential, to unleash strength and beauty trapped within. He is in fact an accomplished practitioner of personal alchemy and it his ability to work this art on others that sets him apart from his colleagues.
